THE GOOD NEWS: Re-Ignite The Fire — 4/19/2026
[QUESTIONS]
Q: Am I burning with holy fire and passion for Jesus or has this flame gone dim (or gone out)?
—Do I need God to re-ignite the flame?
Q: Is my mind truly saturated with God’s Spirit?
—If not, then the way I think needs to be renewed and changed!
Q: Have the contemporary customs of this world become influential towards my appetite for Christ and living in holiness?
[MAIN PASSAGE FOCUS]:
ROMANS 12:1-2 (NLT)
1And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you.
Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
2Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 (NLT)
17This means that anyone who belongs to Christ (living in his ways) has become a new person.
The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
[TPT] - Cross Reference
1Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies?
To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices.
And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.
2Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
REVELATION 3:15:16 (NLT)
15 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other!
16But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!
Lukewarm Defined:
An evident lack of fire and zeal.
When believers shrink back into complacency and comfort.
People who become proud and self-dependent rather than passionately committed and engaged in devotion to Christ!
LUKE 12:35-36 (NLT)
35 “Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning,
36as though you were waiting for your master to return from the wedding feast.
Then you will be ready to open the door and let him in the moment he arrives and knocks.
[Be ready with the fire of expectancy & anticipation that burns with desire for Jesus]
NOTES:
Ask the Holy Spirit to re-ignite our appetite for Holiness.
The difference between a casual christian and a sanctified christian is:
-One fulfills the Character of Christ and is devoted to holiness.
-While the other fulfills the desires of the flesh while attending Sunday service.
-One is Transformed — (reconstructed, re-shaped and totally changed)
-The other is Un-conformed — (not shaped, not molded, not compliant and event resistant)
Matt 17:2
'2As the men watched, Jesus’ appearance was transformed so that his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light. '
KADASH (Kā-DOSH) - Hebrew verb meaning: holy, set-apart, consecrated or sanctified.
The nature of this word focuses on the distinct separation of being casual (or common) to being devoted exclusively to God’s purposes.
—It is used in the context of being consecrated (meaning: dedicated) and ceremonially or morally clean, often implying a purification process.
[Holiness reflects God’s divine nature]
[MAIN REVELATORY FOCUS]:
I have given Jesus to be the sacrificial lamb, the offering, the greatest sacrifice ever given for the restoration and redemption of mankind.
I have given My One and Only Son to be crucified so that sinners can see their sins nailed to a wooden cross.
The stripes of My Son were embraced on Calvary’s cross to demonstrate spotless, untainted, unrestrained love.
Yet there is a nation of people who suffer with a disease.
A disease and epidemic of high-mindedness; where they will not surrender their lives, only giving over a very small part to Me.
Yet I gave you all that I have. I gave Jesus; the ultimate ransom for humanity.
Yet they choose to crucify Jesus afresh by not denying their comfort.
They nail Him to the cross over and over and over again by not denouncing sin.
They reject His faithfulness by ignoring the call.
They jeer and they mock by living in the temperature of a lukewarm dwelling.
Yet He was pierced for all rebellion.
He was crushed so that all could find and walk in TOTAL deliverance.
Yet why do they choose to dwell among the living space of perversion?
Why do they act upon every indulgent desire they feel within?
Am I not enough for them to overcome?
Jesus is the fulfillment and cure to every void and every longing heart.
I want My people to come to a place where I am the Only Thing, the Only One that satisfies every desire, every motive, every longing, every pleasure, every want and every need.
Only when I become your everything will you see the manifestation of My glory in and through your life!
Only then will you feel the completion within you have been looking for.
Only then will you prosper.
*Ask The Lord to drain us of the excess waste and fill us with fresh oil and fresh fire.
